Washington State University’s Knott Dairy Farm Renovation project consisted of building improvements and design of a new pump and irrigation system. We were tasked with helping the Farm comply with federal regulations, and a conversion from an above ground flat hosepipe to underground piping. Scott worked with the farm to design the new pump, irrigation piping system, connections, and coordinate the electrical improvements.
SynTier Engineering also provided engineering services for the paving of the barn site for the Knott Dairy farm. Services include the topographic survey and design for the paving of the project area. Included in the design services was a soils evaluation of the existing site, subgrade and pavement recommendations, as well as grading and storm drainage design. SynTier Engineering utilized aerial mapping to minimize the impacts to the working Dairy Farm.
