Front Office Administrative Assistant

SynTier Engineering is a growing Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Company, serving the Inland Northwest.  We specialize in a variety of private, public, and educational community projects.   We are looking for an experienced, responsible, and outgoing Front Office Administrative Assistant to join our team.  We are searching for a candidate who has the following traits:​​

  • Self-starter with eye for details

  • Strong customer support skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written

  • Team Oriented with a desire to support others

  • Experience answering and routing calls

  • Strong work ethic, reliable, and timely

​Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Survey, Engineering, and administrative staff

  • Answer, screen & direct phone calls

  • Help and greet clients and visitors

  • Organize & maintain office needs

  • Additional duties as assigned

 

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail will be valued. If you are a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively, we encourage you to apply for this role.  Must have a valid drivers license.  

Job Type:  Part-time

Compensation:  $20 - $24 per hour

Expected hours:  20 – 30 per week

Civil Designer

SynTier Engineering is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Civil Engineer at our Spokane, Washington office.  We are searching for a candidate who has the following traits:

  • Willingness to collaborate with multidiscipline teams while developing project management capabilities

  • Enjoys working on stimulating and challenging multi-disciplinary projects, from planning through design and construction

  • Ability to engage with clients

  • Self-starter with eye for details

  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written

  • Team Oriented with a desire to support others

  • Strong work ethic, reliable, and timely

Experience:

  • One – two years’ experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering 

  • EIT

  • Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills

 

Location and Work Arrangement:

This is an in-person position. We offer flexible schedules.  As part of our team, you'll be directly involved in civil design for diverse projects including education, civic, multi-family, and commercial; working with the cutting edge technology. We value self-starting, detailed oriented, highly motivated team members with a positive attitude.

Compensation:  $60,000 - $85,000 annual salary

Civil Designer Project manager

Location:  Spokane

SynTier Engineering is a growing Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Company, serving the Inland Northwest.  We specialize in a variety of private, public, and educational community projects.  We are looking for a full-time Civil Engineer with client and project management experience.  Who can independently manage clients, and lead a team to project completion.

We are searching for a candidate who has the following traits:

  • Willingness to collaborate with multidiscipline teams while developing project management capabilities

  • Enjoys working on stimulating and challenging multi-disciplinary projects, from planning through design and construction

  • Ability to manage and engage with Clients

  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written

  • Team Oriented with a desire to lead and support others

  • Strong work ethic, reliable, and timely

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington or Idaho and have the ability to obtain a Washington within 2 years.

  • Must have experience in one or more of the following types of projects:

  • Water distribution, sewer collection

  • Stormwater systems

  • Roads or highway

  • Subdivision land development

  • Commercial site design

  • Ability to be versatile and work with multiple clients and on multiple projects.

  • Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills

 

Location and Work Arrangement:

This is an in-person position. We offer flexible schedules.

Compensation:  $90,000 - $125,000 annual salary
