Design: 2021-2023

The first phase of the Edington Subdivision is a 20.63 acre development on the north side of Moscow, ID. SynTier provided the land surveying and civil engineering support for the annexation, comprehensive map amendment, and preliminary platting for the initial phase of the project, as well as coordination with the City of Moscow staff.
SynTier Engineering was the primary designer for the first phase of the construction plans. SynTier oversaw the design of the Civil Engineering elements of the project, including the road, utility, and stormwater designs. As this project has continued on and modifications to the project come up, SynTier has transitioned from the typical Design-Bid-Build design process to more of a Design-Build process. Working with the Developer and contractor to update the design as required to meet the project needs.
SynTier has provided Construction Assistance (CA) throughout the project. CA services consisted of construction staking, quantity verification, as-built surveying, site meetings, assisting the city with utility testing, and verifying pay contractor requests. SynTier also performed the stormwater permitting and site investigations for the project. Our Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) performs weekly site visits and reports to continuously update the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) to keep the contractor, site, and owner in compliance with the Idaho DEQ stormwater regulations.
